Every lesson was clear and focused, She would explained everything in a simple and easy to understand way making it easy to gain the knowledge and skills I needed to pass. I'm so pleased to share that I passed my driving test today with no minors thanks to Drive With Helen - Driving School. Coming to Helen, I was a very nervous learner, having had two previous sets of lessons elsewhere that didn’t work out. My confidence in my driving ability was low, but Helen really transformed my driving and pushed me to persevere. Helen put my mind at ease during my lessons and helped to build up my confidence. She always asked for my input on what I wanted to work on, while also making her own recommendations based on my driving. This made a world of difference for me. I started with a set of intensive lessons and then continued with weekly 2 hour lessons. Helen was very easy to get in touch with and would often send me advice or pictures of things we had been working on, which helped with my home studying and preperation. I am incredibly grateful for Helen's lessons and the comfortable, supportive environment she created. Her patience and teaching methods put me at ease and helped me to feel more confident and prepared. I have had Helen as my driving instructor and I have had the best time. She has so much patience and is so calm. We have had great conversations and she made me feel at ease. I am so glad I had Helen as my instructor and I passed first time, with no minors so it says it all really.

I came to Helen already having had lessons in Yorkshire, I wasn't taught very well. Helen helped me get rid of bad habits I had been taught and gave me the confidence to go for it. She is very patient and understanding. It was a pleasure to have her as an instructor.

Our son needs clear instructions and Helen was the perfect instructor, always remaining calm and increasing Fred's confidence at every lesson. Helen exceeded all our expectations, with Fred passing with only 3 minors. Fantastic result and one very happy Fred.

Very thorough and supportive instructor
Helen was really really helpful in my progress with driving. As I had been driving for a while already she showed me exactly what I needed to do to make everything safer and cleaner. She was very supportive and always made sure I was happy with what we had done in the lessons and always asked what I felt less confident on. I would highly recommend her.

I highly recommend Helen. I booked a Semi Intensive Driving course and passed my driving test first time. Helen has a very practical way of teaching making it easier to learn, not only she point your areas of improvement but also praises your achievements, which I believe is very important to give you the confidence to be a safe driver. She keeps you informed about incoming lessons and gives comprehensive feedback after finishing lessons. Since the first session with Helen, I felt comfortable and confident I was in good hands.

Wish I had found Helen earlier!
I can't recommend Helen enough, she helped me iron out numerous bad habits I had picked up from driving family members cars and got me through my test first time. I came to Helen expecting to need 20 odd hours but she quickly spotted what I needed to work on and got me pass ready in less than 10. Only wish I had found her 10 years earlier!

Passed First Time
When I first started driving with Helen I was extremely nervous and always doubted my self and said I couldn’t do it. We worked on my confidence in every lesson, adapted lessons to my needs and spoke about what I felt comfortable with doing. My emotional response and reaction to other road users wasn’t the best but we soon worked on this. As my confidence got better we just worked on perfecting every part of my learning sectors. By time I came to take my test nothing phased me and I knew I could do it with out having to ask Helen. Every lesson was fun I always looked forward to my lessons, constantly learning and felt I was getting closer every lesson. When doing a 3 hour lesson I would sometimes find it to much so we would stop and have a break and go over some show me tell me questions to split up the lessons. I did multiple lessons some were one every week then we decided I would benefit better from 2 weeks of constant lessons. My test was cancelled first time which was a set back however we re booked and got back out there to make sure I was still as confident as Helen had helped me get. I took my test and passed first time. I miss my lessons as they were always something to look forward to and I loved Helen as my instructor however I am so thankful for my licence and own freedom. Helen not only taught me how to drive but she taught me to a point where when I passed my test I was in my own car the same day with the same confidence and attitude on the road. I would recommend Helen to anyone.

Helen was a great instructor who moved on at a pace that was right for me. She made sure I was confident performing various driving skills before moving on but also didn’t spend too long on anything. Really organised and approachable and for me the ideal instructor. Without a doubt helped massively with passing my test and getting me test ready. I would recommend her to anybody. Thanks Helen👍

I'm thrilled to have passed my driving test on the first attempt, but I will miss my driving lessons with Helen and her many catchphrases! Helen is not only incredibly professional and knowledgeable, but she is also very approachable and patient, which made me feel at ease during my lessons. She was determined to find a solution to every struggle I faced while learning to drive. Helen never gave up on me and was able to adapt her teaching style to suit my needs. After every lesson, Helen would take the time to provide feedback, showing me where I was making progress and what areas I needed to improve on. She would also recommend videos for me to watch before the lesson, which helped me prepare and made my lessons feel productive. When I started my semi-intensive driving course with Helen, I had no prior driving experience, but we made the right decision to push my test back so I could have an additional 10-15 hours of lessons to become more confident and test-ready. I also appreciate how accommodating Helen has been in scheduling extra lessons for me. I highly recommend Helen as a driving instructor to anybody who is feeling particularly nervous, lacks confidence, or has little driving experience.
